I discovered KJP products in the early summer. Ever since, I've fallen in love. I think this bracelet is absolutely gorgeous! You can pair it with anything.

Kate Spade New York "Holland" Watch // $195

During the fall season, I wear a lot of cream and brown. I think this watch would be the perfect everyday accessory during the colder months.

Kate Spade New York Mug "Eat Cake For Breakfast" // $19.99

I am a huge fan of Kate Spade products. This mug is no exception! Plus, I didn't bring any mugs with me to college. This mug would look super cute on my already bright and colorful desk.

I am a lover of all things Lilly Pulitzer. Not to mention, this stationary set would look super cute on my desk as well.

Women's Kendra Scott Elisa Filigree Pendant Necklace // $55

I recently discovered the Kendra Scott brand. I think these necklaces are so pretty (and perfect for the fall time!) I love this one because it's rose gold. I can see myself wearing this with a cream turtleneck.

I love this sweater. I think the layered look is so preppy and girly.

This bag will forever be on my wishlist. I love this bag so, so much. Plus, it's my school's color! It would be the perfect accessory for basketball games and other on campus events.

LC Lauren Conrad Poppey Women's Ankle Boots // $50

I love, love, love Lauren Conrad. She is one of my favorite designers of all time. I own a couple pairs of shoes from her, along with some sweaters. However, I don't own any brown ankle booties. I think these would be the perfect addition to my collection.

Aeropostale Solid Ruffled Boot Socks // $5

Boot socks are one of my favorite accessories for the fall season.

Butter London Sea Shell Nail Polish // $10

I have a thing for Butter London nail polish. It glides on so smoothly. I also love this color. I feel like it's one of those colors that you can get away with despite the season.

Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine, Shampoo and Conditioner // $17

I guess you know you're a college student when you're asking for shampoo and conditioner for your birthday. I love Garnier products! They leave my hair looking new and shiny.

Cocoshea Honey Body Scrub From Bath & Body Works // $13.50

In general, I just need some yummy smelling body stuff. Bath & Body Works is the place to go for some awesome fall scented body mists.

Sheer Cheek Gel by PIXI // $14

Confession: I've never tried PIXI products. I've been wanting to try PIXI products ever since Aspyn Ovard did a collaboration with them. I really like liquid blushes, too.

Simply Southern Women's Whoo T-shirt Navy // $30

In my opinion, you can never have too many (1) Simply Southern tees and (2) long sleeves. This shirt is the best of both worlds. Not to mention, it's navy!

Express Impala Plaid Blanket Scarf // $21

Scarves. Are. My. Favorite. Accessory. I wear a scarf everyday during the colder months.

The Only Transition Pieces You Need: Summer to Fall

Welcome back to my blog, everyone!

Today, I'm featuring one of my favorite Etsy shops: Honey and Sage Boutique. They were so kind to send me this light, pullover sweater and this canvas tote bag.

I love how versatile this sweater is. I can wear with jeans and riding boots, or with yoga pants and sneakers. It's the perfect balance between a sweater and a sweatshirt. I also adore how soft it is. 

The tote bag is also super cute! It can be used despite the season. I love how nautical this bag is; I love the navy and red. And the rope handle detailing is gorgeous! I love that touch.

What It's Really Like Living On Campus

It's that time of year where high school seniors are applying to colleges and learning about their acceptances. I remember, this time last year, I was accepted to Cabrini University. I was faced with the decision of commuting or living on campus. Originally, I was going to commute. However, after months of debating, I decided to take on the challenge of living on campus.

Here's what it's really like living on campus:

1. You and your roommate might not click.

I've heard stories from other freshman. It stinks, but it happens. Be respectful and move on. It's okay if you guys aren't apart of the same friend group.

2. People usually run the halls around 2 AM and scream. For. No. Good. Reason.

Yes, people can be inconsiderate. They scream at the top of their lungs and crank up the music-- just because they can. They don't care that you have a class tomorrow at 8:00 AM. Buy earplugs.

3. You will get homesick.

I FaceTime my parents every night before I go to bed. I also FaceTime my boyfriend. It's definitely a difficult transition. However, talking to my family and checking in makes it easier. Also, make friends! Having friends and making plans makes the transition a heck of a lot easier. 

4. Eating grilled cheese sandwiches three days in a row is a bad idea.

I know... they're delicious. Don't do it. Been there, done that.

5. The cafeteria food really isn't that bad.

The food in my cafeteria is pretty darn good, to be honest. My cafeteria has an action bar where they make the food right in front of you. Pretty cool, huh? 

6. It's a lot easier to make friends.

I can't imagine if I was a commuter student during my first year. I'm a super shy person, making friends would have been extremely difficult. Living on campus makes it a lot easier to jump out of your comfort zone and go for it!

7. Seniors don't let freshmen into parties.

Here's some advice to all of you rebels out there: don't go. There are better ways to spend your Friday nights. Go to a event hosted by the campus. Go to a movie. There are a ton of safer alternatives.

8. Communal showers are gross.

Yes, there's hair. No, there's no place to put your leg up to get a clean shave. Yes, there's toothpaste in the sinks. No, there's nothing you can do about it. Just remember to bring your shower shoes.

9. You'll definitely get out of your comfort zone.

I've done things I've never thought I'd do. But hey, here I am. That's definitely a positive thing, by the way!

10. It's a heck of a lot easier to get sick.

As I am typing up this blog post, my nose is running and my throat couldn't be sorer. Three words: Colds. Spread. Fast. I'm sucking on cough drops and hoping for the best. Remember to drink lots of water and stock up on the hand sanitizer. 

11. You learn responsibility.

When you live on campus, you are responsible for yourself. You have to do your own laundry. Take out your own trash. Manage your own time. It's definitely a little overwhelming at first, but you get used to it. (Keep an agenda and color code it. It will help a lot!)

Overall, I like living on campus. It's nice to roll out of bed and do whatever you want. However, I miss my family like crazy. I also miss taking baths. And doing face masks in the privacy of my own bathroom. But hey, it's been an eyeopening experience for me.

September Favorites

Good morning, everyone!

Today, I'm sharing some of my favorites from this month. I don't have too many beauty related favorites, however, I do have some lifestyle and fashion favorites.

Tea Tree Body Soap from Primark

I shared this product with y'all in my What's In My Shower Caddy? blog post. I've been using it everyday in the shower. Not only does it smell really good, but it's been keeping my skin really clear. Highly recommend!

Charcoal Nose Strips

I am all about staying in on a Friday night and doing some self-care. I'm thinking: bubble bath, chocolate, Netflix, and a peel off mask. There's nothing better than that. On top of a face mask, I like to do a post strip. You wouldn't believe how much gunk these strips pull out. They're amazing!

FitBit App

I mentioned awhile back that I got a FitBit. I love my Fitbit and I love that it tracks my steps. My goal is to reach 8,000 steps everyday. However, on days when I go to the gym I reach over 13,000. If you have a Fitbit, definitely download the app! Oh, and join challenges! They definitely motivate me to get some extra steps in.

Going To The Gym

With that being said, I've also been enjoying going to the gym on a consistent schedule. I usually go on Monday and Wednesday mornings since I have later classes. If you're looking to start going to the gym, my number one tip would be to find a gym buddy!

Starbucks Hot Chocolate

Yes, yes, and yes! I recently bought the reusable cup that allows you to save 10 cents every time you use it.

Taylor Swift's Latest Music

Not going to lie, I was pretty surprised with Swift's latest releases. However, I'm excited for what she has in store for November. Who else is pumped?

What's In My Backpack?

Welcome back to my blog, everyone!

I thought I would share the contents of my backpack with y'all. I know I've done multiple of these posts in the past, but this is A College Girl's Edition. 

Let's start off with my backpack. My backpack is from L.L. Bean. And yes, for the record it has my monogram on it. #IfItDoesntMoveMonogramIt

MacBook Air

The first thing I pulled out is my MacBook Air. I love my MacBook to death. I've had since the end of July and it works great! (Oh! And, keeping it protected is my Kate Spade laptop case. I love it to death!) 

Lilly Pulitzer Jumbo Agenda

The next thing I have in my backpack is my agenda. I swear by this thing. I actually did a whole blog post on how I organize my agenda. Click here.

My Notebook(s)/Folder(s)

This semester, I have six classes. I use a three subject notebook for my main classes. I usually end up throwing this in my bag along with whatever folders I need.

Any Books/Textbooks That I Need

Again, depending on the day my textbooks will change. However, I almost always keep my Spanish textbook in my bag. Whenever I have free time I work on assignments for that class. The class is both in person and hybrid. I also have some sort of chapter book in my bag. I have heavy reading assignments for both my history and English classes.

Writing Utensil Pouch

I picked this pencil pouch up a few weeks ago from T.J. Maxx. It was in the clearance section; I couldn't resist. In this bag, I keep a variety of colorful pens, highlighters, and pencils. For the record, I love Sharpie Pens. They write so smooth.

Emergency Kit

The Southern Wicked Shop was so kind and sent me this monogrammed cosmetic bag. I use it to store oil absorbing sheets, pads/tampons, etc. 


It's allergy season!


Headphones are a must for me. Not everyone wants to hear your FaceTime call with your family. 

Snacks... And More Snacks

I like to keep a bag of pretzels, a bag of popcorn, some protein bars, and some chocolate chip granola bars in my bag. A girl's gotta eat!

Sticky Notes

I love sticky notes! I post them every where: my agenda, desk, laptop, etc. They're nice to post reminders.

That includes everything thats in my backpack!

A College Girl's Morning Routine

I am officially into the swing of things here at Cabrini University. With that being said, I wanted to share with y'all what I do on a typical morning at CU.

8:00 AM

Wake-up! I spend about 10-15 minutes scrolling through all of my social media: Instagram, Twitter, and Snapchat. Oh, and I also check my email.

8:15 AM

I make my bed. Like every other beauty blogger/vlogger, I feel like it's a good start to my day.

8:20 AM

If I didn't pack out my clothes the night before, I do this now. My go to outfit is a pair of leggings and a soft v-neck. I like to dress this up with pearl earrings and a dainty necklace. Oh, and I can't forget my FitBit. I average 10,233 steps a day, for those of you who are wondering.

8:25 AM

Then, I get my shower gear together and head to the communal bathroom. I will say, I actually like my bathroom a lot. The door shuts all of the way for complete privacy.

8:45 AM

I'm out of the shower! I come back to my room, where I do my hair and makeup.

9:00 AM

I log into my college account to see if any of my teachers posted any announcements.

9:05 AM

I go through my planner to see what I have to do for the day. Sometimes I have reading assignments I have to complete, other days I have blog posts to write, and other times I have "me time" to grasp.

9:15 AM

Then, I begin to tackle any work that needs to be done!

10:00 AM

I pack my bag for classes and get on my way!

Everyday my schedule is different, so some mornings I might go to the gym, I might grab breakfast, etc. Let me know if y'all want to see a fitness routine. I think that would be really fun to film on campus.

I've been on the hunt for a flannel since the middle of summer. I found this one on the L.L. Bean website and fell in love. Definitely a fall must-have.

I've also been looking for a solid black vest. I think this will be a great piece for layering.

LC Lauren Conrad Pullover Sweater

I am a lover of all things Lauren Conrad. Whenever I go to Kohls, I checkout the clearance section for any LC markdowns. I think this sweater is so bright and fun. Pair with jeans and some riding boots, and you're good to go!

Vineyard Vines Pima Cotton Whale Tee

Long sleeve tops are my favorite! They're so easy to throw on, whether it be with jeans or leggings. This pink color has been one of my favorites lately. And of course, who doesn't love a classic Vineyard Vines tee?

Chicwish Cable Knit Sweater Dress in Beige

In 4th grade, I used to wear sweater dresses all the time. Where did they go? I definitely want to bring some sweater dresses back into my wardrobe.

Hunter Boots are so in! And, I have a feeling they're never going to go out.

I think these Jack Rodgers are absolutely adorable. They'll be the perfect shoe for walking around campus in.

Last Christmas, I received a pair of short black boots from Lauren Conrad. I think it's time I expand my collection to a pair of brown ankle booties. They'll go with everything!

This blush cross body is just the cutest! And the tassel completes it.

J. Crew Factory Pearl Headband

I've had my eye on this headband from J. Crew for the longest time. (Like, since last summer!) I think I'm just going to end up ordering it online. It will go with everything in my closet!

Citizen Women's Pink Gold-Tone Stainless Steel Swarovski Watch

I saw this watch and couldn't resist adding it to my wishlist. It's adorable! I think this would go great with some collared shirts and skinny jeans.

Majorica Pearl Studs

I've been wanting a pair of pearl earrings for quite some time. However, I don't know if I should go for the real deal or if I should just purchase a cheap pair from Target. What do you think?

J.Crew Signet Flap Bag

This brown cross body is so, so cute! I have a black cross body, so I think it's only fair I pick up a brown one.

I think this square scarf from J. Crew is adorable! I can definitely see myself tying this scarf around my neck. It's the perfect transition piece.

Lands' End Plaid Wool Throw

I am a lover of all things monogrammed. I have monogrammed shirts, monogrammed shorts, cups, etc. However, I don't have a monogrammed scarf. Definitely need to get my hands on a monogrammed scarf this fall and winter season.

Dorm Room Tour: Bright & Preppy

Welcome to My Dorm Room Tour!

I am so excited to share how I decorated my dorm room with y'all! Early on, I decided to decorate my room with a bright pink and navy blue color scheme. I am a lover of all things bright, girly, and preppy. That's exactly what my dorm room shouts.

A Beauty Blogger's Guide To Perfect Skin

Ever since middle school, I've struggled with mild to moderate acne. I was so insecure in my own skin. Once I reached high school, it began to slow down. However, last year, it came back. And it was bad.

I decided it was time to see a dermatologist. I had it on my back, chest, and face. That trip saved my life. I gained not only clear skin, but confidence.

Drink lots and lots of water.

I know, I know... everyone tells you to drink plenty of water to reach flawless skin. Well, it's true. I go through two water bottles a day. Sometimes three if I'm feeling motivated. I recommend setting reminders on your phone every 30 minutes. This helps a lot!

Try lemon water.

Whenever I'm having a bad breakout, I gravitate towards lemon water. I don't know why, but it does the trick.


I love exfoliating. My skin always feels so much smoother. I like to use a baking soda paste or a walnut scrub. Something gentle.

Go on an antibiotic.

My doctor prescribed me an oral medication. I took this for 2-3 months. Within the first two weeks my skin cleared up. There wasn't a single pimple on my chest/back. (I was perfectly clear for prom!) However, please note that this only a temporary treatment. You can't stay on this medication forever.

ACZONE Gel is my secret.

According to the Aczone website, "ACZONE Gel, 7.5%, is a prescription medicine used on the skin (topical) to treat acne in people 12 years and older."

After taking my nightly shower, I apply a layer of the gel on my back and chest. I then take a small amount and spot treat any spots on my face. This has helped my acne immensely.


Because the ACZONE Gel is a once a day treatment, I like to use Neosporin throughout the day. I apply this 2-3 times a day on a popped pimple. This encourages my skin to heal faster.

Exercise. Exercise. Exercise.

Ever since I've found an exercise routine that worked for me, my skin has been glowing. Sweating pushes out any "gunk" that might be in your pores. I like to workout 2-3 times a week.
